DECOSIL

DECOSIL is a Speciality Paint based on selected acrylic polymers, which impart unique properties to the paint. Some of these properties are :

1. It has excellent adhesion to most building materials such as wood, concrete, asbestos,
cement sheets, aluminium, marble china mosaic, etc.

2. It renders the coated surface completely impervious to water.

3. It prevents the growth of Mildew and Fungus thus retaining the aesthetics of the building.

4. It gives a pleasant satin finish.

5. It can withstand the expansion and contraction of concrete due to changes in weather conditions.

6. It can withstand high temperatures upto 80°C without cracking or softening.

7. It is single component and can be applied by conventional methods.

8. It has excellent durability on both interior and exterior surfaces.

9. It is ideal for exterior walls as it has long durability and excellent satin finish. It improvethe aesthetics of the structure and resists growth of fungus. It also does not fade due to light and rain.

Precautions :
1. Do not apply on damp surfaces.
2. Use in well-ventilated place.
3. Contains flammable solvents, keep away from heat and naked flames.
4. Close the lid tightly when not in use.
5. Do not use mineral turpentine for thinning.
6. Clean up : Use aromatic solvents or our special thinner.

Method of Application :
Lightly wire brush the surface to remove dust and loose . Oil or grease if any, should be cleaned with solvents. Old concrete surfaces should be with very dilute Hydrochloric Acid, then rinsed clean water and allowed to dry completely. Dilute , if necessary, with about 15 to 20%, Decosil No.91, stir the contents well and apply with a brush. Allow to dry for 4 to 8 hours before applying a coat.

NEOPRIME

"NEOPRIME" is a two pack polyester polyurethane primer system that is capable of providing highly durable coating systems for serve exposure conditions. These solvent borne formulations are prepared at relatively low-film-build component with a paint system typically comprising a primer and two coats of Top-Coat.

As a Non-toxic primer it also provides a mechanical key between the Primer and the Finishing coats as well as to increase the build of the paint system. The Primer prevents the subsrtate from attack of mild acids, alkalis, water and humidity and is therefore used as a priming coat in all substrates.

NEOTEX
Paints were developed keeping in mind ultimate requirements in protective and decorative applications of paints on wooden surface in TEXTURISED and SMOOTH finishes for interior applications.

NEOTEX paint is polyester modified high build top coat systems with fast curing properties which gives an opaque finish to a wooden surface in range of beautiful shades both in TEXTURED & SMOOTH finish. Coating Produced by NEOTEX paint demonstrate excellent water resistance, chemical & stain resistance performance exceeds that of traditional Nitrocellulose Paint and other hard thermoplastic coatings.

NEOTEX paint is a two pack system with Base Hardner which gives a tough and lasting protection to wood when it is applied over a WOOD PRIME penetration Primer. APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR WOOD PRIMER AND FINISH COAT
SEALING :-

1) The wooden surface to be painted must be dry and free from dust and loose particles. Prepare the smooth surface by sanding with Emery Paper No.320. clean the surface free of loose Particles and dust.

2) Apply wood filler if necessary with Putty knife to smoothen minor unevenness of the surface and allow it to dry and remove excess filler by Emery Paper No.320 to smooth finish.

WOOD PRIMER :-
3) Apply one coat of Wood Primer after mixing Base and Hardner with Thinner. Allow it to dry for 6-8 hours. Scuff it with Emery Paper No.320 to remove raised gains. If the pores are still not filled, apply a second coat and follow the same step.

FINISH COAT :-
4) Select the finish coat available in shade in Matt. These finishes are two pack system supplied as base and Hardner.
Mix thoroughly Base & Hardner in recommended mixing ratio and thin down with Thinner. Apply one coat of finish Coat. Allow 5-6 hours between Coats if Second coat necessary. Allow the final finish coat to dry overnight. A completely clean surface is mandatory to ensure inter-coat adhesion, especially at long recoat interval.

MIXING RATIO :-
WOOD PRIMER & FINISH COAT are two component system consisting of a Base and Hardner.
Mix thoroughly 100 parts of Base with 10 parts of Hardner by volume in plastic or glass container stir the mixture thoroughly. Add 15 to 20 Parts of Thinner. The mixture should be used within 1-0 hours of mixing. Allow the final finish coat to dry overnight.

SPRAY APPLICATIONS & DRYING TIPS :-

1) Recommended air pressure for spray application is 25-40 # 1bs per sq. inch depends upon type of assembly.

2) The Control of the amount, Pressure and cleanliness of the air going to the spray gun is of critical importance in the system as air contains small but harmful quantities of water, oil, dirt and other contaminants which will lessen the quality of the sprayed finish and the air will likely vary in pressure during spraying job.
Air Control regulator or Air transformer perform function of air filtering, cleaning, air pressure regulation and indication of Pressure.

3) Air Transformer and Compressor tank should be drained before starting spraying operation and if necessary more than once if humidity level in air is higher than normal.

4) This is air drying system with surface drying time of 15-20 min. and Hard dry of 24-48 hours.


SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND OTHER INFORMATIONS :-

1) Spray finishing creates a certain amount of overspray, hazardous vapour and toxic fumes. This is true even under ideal conditions and there is no way to avoid it entirely.
For this reasons Respirators are essential during Spraying operation. Organic vapor Respirator with Protective goggles are recommended with spray Booth chambers.

2) This is a flammable material. Keep away from heat, sparks, etc. Store in dry place with adequate ventilation.

3) Always stir contents well and strain through muslin cloths (white). Close the container tightly after removing required quantity of Base, Hardner and Thinner.

4) It is a must to use separate containers (glass or plastics) for weighing Base and Hardner. Do not transfer the mixed Paint (Base + Hardner) Back to original Base container as it will spoil whole paint in the containers.

5) It is recommended to mix only the required amount of Base and Hardner which is needed for spraying as the pot life of mixed Paint is low.

POLYURETHANE COATING SYSTEMS


Two component POLYURETHANE Clear & Pigmented coating were developed keeping in mind ultimate requirements in protective and decorative application with enhanced performance properties like :-

  • Good gloss retention unsurpassed by any other air drying system and can be highly recommended for high U. V. conditions.

  • Good resistant to Acids, Alkalis, Salt spray, solvents, lubricants and weathering properties like saline and marine atmosphere.

  • Ability to produce good films at room temperature equipment to those obtained from stoving paint with major gain in energy conservation.

  • Coating are more abrasion resistance with long life flexibility, impact resistance, stain resistance, scratch resistance properties.

  • Easy to apply and fast drying.

  • Good dielectric properties.

And hence recommended as a "TOP COAT FINISH"

  • In automotive Industry, particularly in the vehicle repair as it gives a more rapid hardening than other refinish paints with high gloss film with good scratch resistance properties.

  • High Volume farming equipment, transportation vehicles where stoving is difficult like Buses, Trailers, Railways Coaches, Earth moving equipment and Tractors.

  • In Mansonary coatings where good alkali resistance and pore filling properties are required.

    TECHNICAL DATA :

    Generic Type : Two pack Polyurethane

DRYING :

d) Fully cured : 7 days for solvent & chemical resistance when applied to metallic surface.
e) Recoat intervals : 8 - 12 hours.


APPLICATIONS :

  • Remove oil, grease, dirt, welding flux, mill scale, corrosion, products, oxides, loose particles by solvent cleaning or sand papering in case of metals.

  • Clean and Dry surface.

  • Level deformaties if any by application of N. C. Putty, Polyester Putty depending upon type of substrate.

  • Carry out sanding with water emery paper and polish same to a fine finish.

  • Apply one coat of Primer* and allow 8-12 hours of drying.

  • Apply two coats of Polyurethane Paint at re-coat intervals of 8-12 hours.

* Polyurethane Paint can be applied on properly Primed surface.

Surfacing of which done with suitable Primer listed below, depending upon type of substrate.

WOODLUX MELAMINE WOOD FINISH


"WOODLUX MELAMINE WOOD FINSISH"
is two pack systems which is to be applied on wooden substrates to produce Glossy, semi-Glossy, matt finishes that enhance the life of wood to a great extent. Apart from its protective value, it exhibit excellent decorative finish on wooden substrate. The coating being transparent in nature, the natural structure of wood grains are visible their by the texture of wood is being preserved.

These novelty finishes are in great demand and highly recommended by architects and Interior Decorators. Incorporation of special ingredients makes it outstanding in domestic, industrial and marine applications.

APPLICATIONS PROCEDURES FOR WOODLUX MELAMINE WOOD FINSISH.


FILLING :-
1) The wooden surface or furniture to be coated must be dry and free from dust and loose particles. Prepare the smooth surface by sanding with Emery Paper No.180 followed by fine sanding with Emery No. 320. Clean the surface free of loose particles and dust.
2) Apply wood filler with Putty knife or musclin cloth to smoothen minor unevenness of the surface and allow it to dry for 1-2 hours. Remove excess filler by Emery Paper No.320 to smooth finish.

SEALING :-
Apply one coat of Woodlux Natural Wood Finish clear sealer after mixing Base and Hardner with Thinner. Allow it to dry for 6-8 hours. Scuff it with Emery Paper No.320 to remove raised grains. If pores are still not filled, apply a second coat and follow the same step. Smooth sand the sealer coat after drying.
FINISH COAT :-
Select the finish coat available in Glossy or Matt, Semi-Glossy finish can be prepared by mixing Glossy and Matt in desired proportions.
Mix thoroughly Base and Hardner in recommended mixing ratio and thin down with thinner. Apply two coats. Allow 2-3 hours between coats. Allow the final finish coat to dry overnight. A completely clean surface in mandatory to ensure inter-coat adhesion, especially at long re-coat interval.
MIXING RATIO :-
Woodlux Natural Wood Finish clear sealer, Matt & Glossy are two pack system supplied as Base & Hardner.
Mix thoroughly 90 Parts of Base & 10 parts of Hardner by volume in plastic or gloss container stir the mixture thoroughly and strained through musclin cloth. Add 15 to 20 parts of Thinner the mixture should be used within 5-6 hours of mixing.

DESCRIPTION : STOVING PAINT is a single component pain system with
excellent gloss and colour retention properties.

RECOMMENDED USE : As a FINISH COAT on substrate such as steel and zinc body
where light fastness and gloss retention are desired.

APPLICATIONS DETAILS :
a) Mixing Ratio : Mix 100 parts of STOVING PAINT with 15 to parts of
recommended Thinner in a glass or plastic container.
Mix thoroughly & strain through Muslin Cloth.
b) Substrates : Should be Dry and Clean. Pre-treatment of Phosphating with
subsequent coat of Primer is recommended.
c) Applications : Spraying.
d) Air Pressure : 25-40 lbs. per. sq. inch depends upon type of assembly.
e) Drying schedule : 20 minutes @ 120°C.
f) Remarks : Use recommended Thinner only.
g) Safety : As a general rule, avoid inhalation of solvent vapours or Paint mist and
contact of liquid Paint with skin & eyes. Provide forced ventilation when
working with solvent borne coating in confined spaces or stagnant air.
Provide respiratory, skin & eye protection. Follow local & national safety
regulations.

G. THANE POLYURETHANE PAINTS :
DESCRIPTION : G. THANE POLYURETHANE PAINT is a Two component Polyurethane
Paint (supplied as Base & Hardner) with Excellent gloss and colour
retention. It is resistant to water, impact, abrasion.

RECOMMENDED USE : As a finish coat on a variety of substrates such as
Steel, Aluminium, Zinc body. Gloss fibre reinforced
Polyester, Plywood & Hard wood where light fastness of
gloss retention are desired.
APPLICATION DETAILS :
a) Mixing Ratio : Mix 70 parts of Basic with 30 parts of Hardner in clean glass or
plastic container. Add 30 parts of Thinner & mix thoroughly.

b) Substrates : Should be dry & clean. Pretreatment of phosphating
with subsequent coat of Primer is recommended.

c) Pot Life : 2 to 4 hours after mixing hardner @ 30°C.
d) Application : Spraying.
e) Air Pressure : 25- 40 lbs per sq. inch depending upon type of assembly.
f) Dry to Touch : 3 - 4 hours @ 30°C.
g) Hard Dry : Over night.
h) Fully cured : 7 days @ 30°C.
i) Remarks : Hardner is sensitive to moisture, store in dry place. Keep the can or bottle tightly
closed after use.
j) Safety : As a general rule, avoid inhalation of solvent vapours or Paint mist and contact
of liquid Paint with skin & eyes. Provide forced ventilation when working with
solvent borne coating in confined spaces or stagnant air. Provide respiratory, skin
& eye protection. Follow local & national safety regulations.

WOOD PRIME

"WOOD PRIME" is a two - component solvent based penetration primer specially developed for Wood and Wood substrates. Important feature of WOODPRIME is that it facilitates good water resistance there by protecting wood against dimensional changes due to weathering conditions by proper sealing . Apart from this, the coating provides good toothing for topcoat adhesion with faster drying through more rapid solvent release.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

MICROSEPTIC is a tough, flexible, semi-gloss to gloss finish; waterborne polyurethane based coating, which contains a non-leaching anti-microbial system. MICROSEPTIC cures without any strong odour to form an attractive, finish which stays easy to clean and resistant to attack by abrasives and other cleaning agents. It develops its strength and other key physical properties extremely quickly and cures without the release of any harmful solvents or heavy odour. MICROSEPTIC will tolerate thermal movement without cracking, splitting or flaking, and, due to its inherent vapour permeability, allows substrate moisture to escape without causing blisters beneath the cured film. It is colour stable, resists UV induced embrittlement and dries rapidly that two coats can be applied on the same day.

MICROSEPTIC uses :
MICROSEPTIC is ideal for use internally or externally on walls, ceilings, insulation and most other building materials. It can also be applied to vessels, tanks and associated equipment, and where positive pressure is essential like in fruit storage.

The use of MICROSEPTIC is suitable to prevent fungicidal deterioration occurring on wall surfaces in food & pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, kitchens and hospital walls and on any structural surface in buildings where a high standard of hygiene is necessary.

The normal applications that MICROSEPTIC is used for is best served by White and tinted colours like Cream, Magnolia, Mushroom, Pale Lemon, Lt. Blue, Lt. Green & Lt. Grey. The natural weathering process of MICROSEPTIC may cause slight darkening of the colours. All colours are intermixable.


SURFACE PREPARATION:
Remove oil and grease with detergent and water, and laitance from the substrate by wire brushing. Remove loose materials by either wire brushing or high pressure water lancing. Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from dampness. Treat mould with "Anti-fungal Wash", and algae with bleach.

When applying on Brick, Blockwork, Concrete, Plaster, Asbestos Cement, Lining Boards, Insulation, Previously Painted Surfaces, Bitumen Surfaces, Mastics & Timber, use SETCO ELASTOPRIME as a bonding primer prior to the application of MICROSEPTIC. When applying on Metal surfaces, use SETCO METALGRIP as primer-sealer.

APPLICATION PRECEDURE:
Cracks, not liable to movement should be filled with external grade, flexible plaster sealer. Apply MICROSEPTIC over a suitable primer as explained above. For absorbent surfaces, MICROSEPTIC may be diluted with 25% of clean potable water as a primer to kill suction. Dusty friable substrates require sealing with SETCO ELASTOPRIME. When applying MICROSEPTIC over Painted Surfaces, ensure existing paints are fully adhered before priming. Remove existing paint if not well adhered. Apply MICROSEPTIC directly over well-sanded gloss, emulsion, alkyd and epoxy paints. For safety, use SETCO ELASTOPRIME or SETCO METALGRIP prior to applying MICROSEPTIC.

Apply both coats of MICROSEPTIC at a Wet Film Thickness of 275 microns each to obtain 325 microns Dry Film Thickness. The cured film thickness is essential to the long-tern durability and general effectiveness of the coating. It is important that the Dry Film Thickness is obtained.

Coverage rates provided are for smooth non-absorbent surfaces. Please provide adequate allowances for uneven or absorbent surfaces and wastage.

To produce an extra smooth finish with MICROSEPTIC, a normal requirement for clean rooms, operating theatres, etc. use airless spray. This aids strict hygiene control and facilitates cleaning when frequent sterilization is required.
Do not apply MICROSEPTIC near foodstuffs in unventilated conditions. Do not thin or brush out like conventional paints.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

THERMSHIELD is a highly engineered, elastomeric, insulating, waterproof Coating incorporating Hollow Ceramic Microspheres for Thermal Reflection & Insulation. A waterborne, high-build formula that reflects the Sun's radiant heat, insulates, soundproofs, beautifies and protects, THERMSHIELD is characterized by excellent adhesion to most substrates, high weather resistance, UV stability, elasticity and toughness. THERMSHIELD forms a thick rubberlike shield of protection that expands and contracts with varying hot and cold temperatures, plus resists thermal shock. The most important feature of THERMSHIELD is its heat refractive, reflective and dissipative properties.

Secondary features include its elastomeric properties, resistance to microbial growth, fire and corrosion resistance properties. THERMSHIELD offers superior mildew resistance, insulation, excellent adhesion, ultraviolet reflection and a beautiful finish.

THERMSHIELD is designed as an insulating, energy saving coating that combats the destructive environmental forces of nature. An inexpensive solution to roof & sidewall maintenance, that is easy to apply and requires very little maintenance. SURFACE PREPARATION :
Prepare surface by thoroughly pressure washing with a water & chlorine solution using at least 1,500 psi to remove any previous coatings, dirt, grease, and other foreign materials, especially mold, mildew and algae. THERMSHIELD will resist mildew growth but not kill mildew already on the surface. If the surface was previously painted, or if leaks were previously present, or if the surface requires extra bonding, a primer sealer coat suitable for the specific substrate is recommended prior to the application of THERMSHIELD.

Apply only to a sound, well-prepared surface. Patch any holes, cracks, flashing, valleys, vents, etc. using Waterproof Caulk & Sealant.

Recommended primers for different substrates:
· SETCO ELASTOPRIME or AQUACOAT penetrative primer sealer for Concrete and other porous substrates.
· Premium heavy-duty zinc chromate or zinc phosphate based primer for metal.
· SETCO RUSTCOAT moisture cure Polyurethane primer-sealant clear or fortified with non-sacrificial rust inhibitors for steel and galvanized substrates.
When rolling or spraying THERMSHIELD the second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first coat.

THERMSHIELD is an ideal choice for both new construction and retrofit applications. It has superb adhesion to concrete, primed and galvanized metal, wood, asphalt, tile, asbestos and more. It can be used on

THERMSHIELD systems create a seamless, leak-proof monolithic membrane.
Stir well before using. Do not thin. Do not apply when the humidity is very high. Do not apply when the coating will be subjected to rain or heavy dew before it has had time to dry.

Drying time of THERMSHIELD will vary according to temperature and humidity, and is between 4 and 6 hours. Apply using brush, roller or spray. Spread uniformly. Wait at least 12 hours before recoating. Two coats are generally required for satisfactory performance. Clean up immediately after use with warm soapy water.

THERMSHIELD will provide long-term performance when applied over satisfactory surface preparation and using recommended primers. A wet film thickness of 10 to 12 mils resulting in a dry film thickness of 4 to 5 mils for the primer and followed by a wet film thickness of 12 to 15 mils resulting in a dry film thickness of 8 to 10 mils per each coat of

CLEAR SANDING SEALER (ONE PACK)


INTRODUCTION :

CLEAR SANDING SEALER-ONE PACK is a heavy duty composition based on alkyd modified system supplied in Paste form for application on Wood & Wood Substrate to fill up minor pores & rectify minor unevenness of surface. This property make the product outstanding in INTERIORS DECORATION wood finishing Industry. The Products also have following salient features :

1. COMPOSITION :
The product composed of high quality wood filler ingredients which have excellent Property to seal pores
on wood & wood substrate and also to reduced water absorption of wood to great extent. This Products is high
build in nature and applied by Putty knife or musclin cloth without thinning.

2. CONSTITUENCY :
The sealer is applied in paste constituency WITHOUT THINNING by Putty knife or musclin cloth.

3. DRYING TIME :
Allow surface to dry for minimum 5-6 hours before sanding depending upon atmospheric condition.

4. COLOUR : BROWN (Transparent).

5. PACKAGING : 1.0 Kgs.

6. PRECAUTIONS :
a) Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
b) Store away from heat & naked flames.
c) For application on wood & wood substrate in INTERIOR application only.
d) Use without Thinning as paste only.

7. WORKING PROCEDURE :
a) Sand Wood or Wood substrate with Emery Paper 180 followed by 320 No along wood grains.
b) Apply clear sanding Sealer - one pack along wood grain by Putty knife or musclin cloth evenly on
surface removing excess of materials.
c) Allow 5-6 hours of hard drying before sanding.
d) Smooth sand with Emery paper 320 along wood grains.
e) If pores still not filled, repeat above steps one again taking precautions of allowing dry time of minimum
5 - 6 hours before sanding.
f) If smoothness is satisfactory, apply finish coat of WOODLUX MELAMINE WOOD FINISH or
NEOTEX PAINT after applying wood prime.

P. U. One Pack is oil modified Polyester Polyurethane Paint which supplied in both clear finish and pigmented system. Both has excellent adhesion on most surfaces after curing. The paint are protective and decorative in nature.

This paints exhibits excellent resistance to water mild acids & alkalies and moisture. It can be be applied on almost all substrates like wood, metal, floors, concrete surfaces with enhance properties like.

INSTRUCTIONS :-

Stirr contents in container well and stain through musclin cloths. Since paint is sensitive to moisture, do not store in half filled containers. Transfer the contents to small container so as to avoid any air-gap. Tightly cap after use.
